Standard equipment on the XLS contains 16-inch metal tires, a blind-spot reflection, MyKey adult manages, complete energy accessories, cruise management, air conditioning and a four-speaker stereo audio with a CD gamer and additional audio jack. The Synchronize gadgets interface (includes iPod interface and Bluetooth) and steering-wheel audio manages are optionally available.The XLT contributes automated front lights, foglamps, an auto-dimming rearview reflection, a six-way energy driver chair, steering-wheel audio manages and satellite radio. The Set program contributes leather furniture, warmed front side chairs and normal lighting. The Sun & Synchronize program contributes Synchronize and a sunroof. In Edmunds testing, we found a V6-equipped style delivered adequate performance, running from zero to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds.The Escape Multiple features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine joined with a battery-powered electric powered motor; mixed they produce 177 hp. Power is sent through a consistently varying indication (CVT) that provides smooth changes between electric powered ways. All-wheel-drive (AWD) designs come with an extra engine unit to energy the rear tires when extra speeding or grip is needed.
Antilock braking system, grip management, stability management, front-seat side safety bags and full-length curtain-type safety bags are all conventional on the Ford Escape 2012.

While pleasant to generate, the 2012 Ford Escape does not have the mechanical gloss and complexity of more recent designs from Chevy, Ford, Kia, Subaru and Chevy. Among lightweight crossovers, the Escape feels the most trucklike, and its handling limits are low. The Hybrid's extra 300 weight of hardware make it even less nimble than the regular Escape.
